Fantastique World is an innovative, live-streamed fantasy betting game developed for both mobile and desktop platforms. The project featured volumetric performance capture and a live stage presentation at ICE 2024.
As Lead Artist, I was responsible for the overall environment direction, including lighting, landscape, and visual development. I worked closely with the client and producers, managed task distribution, and led the art team to ensure a high-quality and optimized experience across devices.
My contributions included:
Art direction and visual consistency across environments
Lighting and landscape sculpting for interior and exterior scenes
Custom casino asset creation
Scene optimization for 60 FPS performance on mobile
Client communication, task management, and daily reviews
Tools and techniques included Unreal Engine, Niagara FX, custom shader development, and profiling with UE’s optimization tools. The game also required unique material setups, heavily optimized foliage, and fantasy FX transitions built for real-time performance.
